After reading the posts that you both have left, I feel that both of you are right. I belive that there are a lot of free loaders out there that want nothing but a free ride and for someone else out there to pay for it. But there are people like myself that were severely injured in an on the job accident. I am permantly disabled and have been told by 11 specialist that my aspirations of returning to work are slim to none. This was a hard blow for me. I have always held down two jobs that were physically demanding. Now I am left on SDI and feeling that there has to be more than this for me. As most of you know out there, SDI pays horribly and is a dead end road for a lot of people. I for one, do not belive that theory. I still feel that I have something to contribute to this world and would like the opportunity to try. The only thing holding me back right now is the financial ability to afford the costs of doing so. My husband would like to start a business. A deli actually. He would handle the on hands part of the business and I would handle the financial end. Such as ordering, books, payroll, etc. . We are not one of those couples out there looking for free hand outs but would like to also find investors or someone willing to take a chance giving us a personal loan. We are good, honest people with good hearts and the willingness to try and make a difference in our lives.
So when I hear people layout unfair generalizations of how people are out there begging off for free money it hurts my feelings. That is not what this site was intended for or what we were looking for either. I would like honest leads or more like honest people who know the answers to my questions and know how to point us in the right direction.
Thank you so much for the lead. We too were vitims of idenity fraud back in 2000 and have yet to recover from that also.
I appreciate you taking the time to help me out and for your prayers. I promise I will let you know how it goes. If you hear of any other sites, please feel free to email me at: manic_mama70@msn.com . Please make sure to put kitkat in the subject line . That way I know who you are.
Have a wonderful day and again, thank you for your help and prayers.
Hi. I am a 37 year old female who is permantly disabled and a married mother of 3 daughters. I have a nerve disorder called RSD, myofacial pain syndrome, chronic pain syndrome, fibo, arthritis in my neck & down through my spine, I need surgery on my lower back, and I suffer from depression. My situation is bad and I know people out there probably have it a lot worse than myself.
My husband has been laid off and on since April of last year and financially we are just about sunk. I would like to try and do something to help him out with the bill but am not able to work full time. I am not sure what to do. Does anyone out there know how to seek hardship funding, or loans. With the lack of employment on my husbands behalf and my dsablility, our credit is shot. We are good people. But our credit doesnt reflect that.
I would appreciate any help that anyone out there can do to help us. I am not begging for money. I find it repulsive and degrading. What I would like is to find a way for us to help ourselves. Loan or grant info would be fantastic.
Please feel free to email me at: manic_mama70@msn.com . Please make sure to identify yourself on the re: . Please put "The solution to your problem" in the caption. That way I know who you are and wont disregard your email and mistake it for spam mail.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to help myself and my family.
Hi. My name is Jennifer. I am a married mother of 3 girls and permanently disabled. I have been on social security for almost 6 years now and am dying inside a little more each day. I have come to a resolution about my limitations but I feel that there has to be something out there that I can contribute to. My husband wants to open a business...something small and part time. I am interested in checking out government grants and trying to maybe go back to school. I am not sure if I am fully able to...but am willing to try.
My question is for anyone out there...Does anyone know how to research government loans and grants for americans on social security diability?....and does anyone out there know what the guidelines are for people like me who at least want to give it a chance and try to work again? I would be eteranlly greatful for any help . Thank you for taking the time to listen.
